# Course revisions and approvals

**September 2026** · Training courses

Every change to a course is now recorded, and someone can sign it off. You can see who changed what, approve it, and see a history of approvals when students ask what they were taught.

***

### What changed

* **Changes open a revision.** Any change to a course's stages or flight missions shows *Unapproved changes (revision N)* until someone approves it. Many edits before approval make one revision, not many.
* **See before you sign.** The badge lists every change in the revision: what was added, edited or deleted, the old and new value of each field, and who made it.
* **Minor and major changes.** A major change, such as a new requirement, new missions or a new syllabus revision, starts a **course revision** from the course page. Minor edits stay in the current one.
* **Students are never blocked.** They always run the live content. The approval is a record of what was approved and when.
* **Undo is recorded.** Undoing a change appears in the log as a change of its own.
